On this page are described the management methods for the site with reference to the handling of personal information from the users who consult it. This deals with information that is given under the terms of Article 13 of the Law d.lgs. n. 196/2003 – regarding the protection of the personal information of those who use the web services.

The “Owner” of the handling

Surfing information
The computer systems and software procedures used for the functioning of this web site acquire, during their normal running, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. It concerns data which is not gathered in order to be associated with identified interested parties but which by their very nature could, through processing and association with data kept by third parties, allow the identification of the users. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain name of the computers used to connect to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, time of request, the server submitted query method used, files’ size received as request response, numeric code concerning the status of the server response (successful, error, etc.) and other kinds of information related to the operating system and the user IT environment. This data is used only for the purpose of collecting anonymous statistical information about site usage and to check its correct functioning and is kept according to the times and duties set out by law.

Data provided voluntarily by users
The optional, explicit and voluntary forwarding of emails to the addresses given on this site, implies the acquisition of the sender’s email address, essential to reply to the requests, and of any other additional personal data in the email.

No personal information of users is acquired by the site. Use of cookies is not done for the transmission of information of a personal character, nor are so-called persistent cookies of any type, in other words systems for tracing users, used. The use of so-called session cookies (which are not memorized in a persistent way on the user’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session information (made up of random numbers generated by the server) needed to allow the safe and efficient exploration of the site. The so-called session cookies used on the site avoid the use of other computer resources potentially compromising to the privacy of the users’ surfing, and they do not allow the acquisition of personal data identifying the user.

Option to provide information
Apart from what is specified for surfing information, the user is free to provide the personal information in the registration forms for the studiofair site services, in the information requests, suggestions, and messages to the editors of the site or the telephone contacts indicated. Not providing this information may make it impossible to receive what has been requested.

Handling method
The personal information is handled with automatic tools for a period of time strictly needed to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. Specific security measure are observed to prevent the loss of data, illegal and improper use and unauthorized access.

Rights of interested parties
The parties who the personal information refers to have the right at any moment to get confirmation or not of the existence of their information and to know its content and origin, to check its exactness or to ask for its update, modification or correction (Article 7 of Law D.Lgs.196/2003). Under the terms of the same article there is the right to ask for the deletion, transformation into anonymous form or the blocking of the information handled in violation of the law as well as opposing its handling in any case for legitimate reasons.


Method for linking
Linking to this site is subject to the prior authorization of Studio Fair which authorizes the link on the following conditions. The party which intends to insert the link must give prior communication of it to Studio Fair by sending an e-mail to with their own identifying information. All variations regarding the publication of the link (deletion, modification or others) will be communicated to the same address. Linking to the site is authorized on the following conditions:

The link must not create confusion in the user about the ownership of the owner, the activities of the party making the link and those offered on the site. The link must be made in such a way that the connection to the site takes place directly to the front page. Studio Fair reserves the right to withdraw this authorization at any moment. In any case the creation of a link to the site forms complete acceptance of these rules.

All the content (texts, photos, film clips, graphics, brands, logos, audio-visuals etc…) and information within the site, are the exclusive property of Studio Fair and/or third parties and are protected under the terms of the legislation in force on copyright (Law no.633/1941 and its subsequent modifications), on patents and related to intellectual property. They may be released under Copyright, in other words with rights reserved, or under Creative Commons, in other words with certain rights reserved. The reproduction, communication and provision to the public, the rental, loan and distribution without the authorization of the rights’ owner is forbidden. All the content may be downloaded or used only according to the ways set out by those rights and at any rate not for commercial use. The sanctions set out by Articles 171 to 174 of the quoted legislation will be applied.

Use of the site
In no case will Studio Fair be held responsible for damage of any nature caused directly or indirectly by access to the site, by the inability or impossibility of access to it, by the use of news contained in it. Quotations for news or review usage are allowed if accompanied by indicating “ Studio Fair “ and its URL. Studio Fair will arrange the insertion updated news on the site. Studio Fair reserves the right to reproduce the texts in other publications. Studio Fair reserves the right to modify the site content and legal notes at any moment and without prior notice.

Access to connected, external sites
Studio Fair does not have any responsibility concerning the sites which it is possible to access through the connections placed within the site. Studio Fair is not responsible for information obtained by the user through access to sites that can be reached through hypertext connections. The owners of the sites accessed are to be held responsible for information and its completeness under the terms they set out.

Everything on this site available for download such as, for example, the technical, legislative and bureaucratic documentation, and software, except where indicated otherwise, is available freely and without charge under the conditions set out by the owner.

Computer viruses
Studio Fair does not guarantee that the site is free from errors or viruses. Studio Fair and its suppliers are not responsible for damages the user suffers because of these harmful agents.
